Centramina
Centramina is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant indicated for:
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Narcolepsy
The medicine is supplied as 10 mg tablets for oral administration. It contains an amphetamine-based compound that acts as a sympathomimetic agent to promote wakefulness and improve attention. It has also been used for the treatment of depression and stress.
Centramina is not authorized or marketed in the USA or EU, as reflected by its absence from U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medicines Agency (EMA) databases; however; it remains available in some regions, including Brazil, where it is listed by ANVISA (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária).
