Delivering the latest in cancer science over three days, this year’s virtual program shared over 250 oral abstract presentations and 2,500 poster presentations in 24 disease-based and specialty tracks. Fascinating topics included:
- Cancer care in the time of COVID, which covered topics such as the clinical impact of COVID-19 on patients with cancer and learning from COVID experiences
- Novel approaches to harnessing immunotherapy with tumour-specific vaccines, gene-engineered T-cell therapy and bispecific antibodies
- Using biomarkers to guide targeted therapies in breast cancer with a deep dive into preoperative HER2 biomarkers and using liquid profiling to inform CDK4/6 therapy
