ECE 2018 – 20th European Congress of Endocrinology is organised by the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) and will be held from May 19 – 22 at Barcelona International Convention Centre, Barcelona, Cataluna, Spain.
ECE is designed to support scientific and professional interaction among all fields of endocrinology and metabolism, from bench to bedside, with the aim of advancing knowledge and improving patient care.
Continuing the momentum of ECE 2017 in Lisbon, Portugal, the Programme Organising Committee has created a scientific programme featuring the best international, European and local experts as speakers in a versatile scientific programme covering all 8 focus areas. This year’s programme will include 11 prize and plenary lectures, 30 symposia on the most salient topics in endocrinology, 16 Meet the Expert – Clinician sessions , 3 Meet the Expert – Basic Scientist sessions, 6 New Scientific Approaches sessions and 6 debates. There will be a symposium dedicated to Late Breaking News and another organised by the European Young Endocrinologists Society (EYES). ECE will also be catering for the nurses through the Endocrine Nurse’ sessions and Meet the Nurse Expert sessions.

The Learning Zones are an educational resource for healthcare professionals that provide medical information on the epidemiology, pathophysiology and burden of disease, as well as diagnostic techniques and treatment regimens.
