UEG Week 2017
In Barcelona from the 28th October to the 1st November, the 25th UEG Week will take over the Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via Venue. There has been recent political uncertainty in Barcelona linked to clashes between the Spanish government and the Catalan government over Catalonia’s autonomy, but the organisers of UEG Week 2017 assure attendees that every measure is being taken to ensure there will be no impact.
UEG (United European Gastroenterology) Week gathers specialists, researchers, clinicians and students from across the globe to enjoy a comprehensive scientific programme. In celebration of the meeting’s jubilee anniversary, there will be a number of special activities in which attendees are invited to participate. Alongside a session dedicated to the past and the future of gastroenterology, there will be a photo booth to record your memories, an Anniversary Canvas where you can place your mark and an art exhibition devoted to the past 25 years of UEG Week.
#Voice4PanCan and Walk with us for Digestive Health are advocacy causes promoted at this year’s event, giving away a free pedometer for anyone who would like to add their steps to the awareness-raising campaign.
UEG Week is now accredited by EACCME:
