European Congress of Neurosurgery to conclude in Venice
The 17th European Congress of Neurosurgery will draw to a close today after a successful few days in Venice, Italy. Under the theme of "Controversies and Solutions in Neurosurgery" it aimed to consider multiple treatment options and create an interactive meeting, focused on real-world situations.
The congress is part of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) annual event programme. EANS is a fast-developing independent association, both of European neurosurgical societies and of individual Neurosurgeons from all over the world.
Members come together to discuss how to enhance the care they deliver to their patients by facilitating the exchange of scientific information at the highest level.
Among the wealth of topics which have been covered by the scientific programme are vascular, paediatric and spinal neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and neurotrauma & critical care.
