Defence is the Best Attack: Immuno-Oncology Breakthroughs conference draws to a close
Today marks the close of EACR Conference Series’ Defence is the Best Attack: Immuno-Oncology Breakthroughs. The conference, hosted in Barcelona in Spain, ran for two days and concludes today having covered these topics:
- Immune checkpoints
- Immunoediting
- Innate immune response
- Microbioma and the immune system
- CAR T cells
- Vaccination
- Biomarkers of response to immunotherapy
- Mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapy
This meeting is aimed at “basic and translational scientists and clinicians, both senior and young investigators that want to have a broad and detailed overview of the most recent advances in the field of immunotherapy.”
The conference, run by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), forms part of the Conference Series with further meetings lined up until June 2019.
