This symposium offers a unique chance to gain up-to-date information on the rapidly evolving treatment landscape and explore how recent therapeutic options for paediatric psoriasis can benefit patients. There will also be an opportunity for clinicians to familiarise themselves with the latest guideline recommendations and be provided with clinical data for approved biologic agents.

The symposium will close with a panel discussion including responses to submitted questions.

Faculty

Professor Amy Paller

Professor of Paediatrics and Dermatology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, US. Professor Paller is author of almost 500 peer-reviewed publications and has also edited several major textbooks in dermatology. Her research focuses on skin innervation in inflammatory diseases and topically delivered gene regulation through nanotherapy, including for psoriasis.

Professor Matthias Augustin

Director of the Institute for Health Services Research in Dermatology and Nursing at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Patient registries, epidemiology, quality of healthcare, and health policy are the focus of Professor Augustin’s research. He is an author of more than 620 scientific and medical papers and 27 medical textbooks, and a peer reviewer for 25 scientific journals, including the Lancet and the British Journal of Dermatology.

Professor Marieke Seyger

Associate Professor of Paediatric Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre in the Netherlands. Professor Seyger established the European working group on paediatric psoriasis. She is Councilor of the International Psoriasis Council, Associate of the International Eczema Council, secretary of the Dutch Task Group on Paediatric Dermatology and secretary of the Dutch Society for Experimental Dermatology.
