Guidelines for the diagnosis and management of acute myeloid leukaemia in pregnancy
Guidelines for the diagnosis and management of acute myeloid leukaemia in pregnancy - British Society for Haematology (BSH)
These guidelines provide guidance for the management of acute myeloid leukaemia in pregnancy. Given the lack of evidence in many areas, it is recognised that any of the recommendations are derived from expert opinion.
The guidance makes recommendations on management according to the stage of pregnancy, discusses the need for a multi-disciplinary approach, provides guidance on chemotherapy and managing its complications.
The guideline makes recommendations on the ongoing management and supportive therapies in managing AML in pregnancy, preparations and management of delivery, post-delivery and neonatal follow up.
