NICE recommends Pradaxa for treatment of DTE and PE- Boehringer
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published final guidance endorsing Pradaxa (dabigatran etexilate) from Boehringer for treating and preventing the recurrence of Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism (VTE), recommending its use twice daily after treatment with a parenteral anticoagulant for at least five days.
