Aeterna Zentaris has submitted a New Drug Application to the FDA for AEZS 130 (macimorelin acetate) for evaluation of adult Growth Hormone Deficiency. The submission is based on Phase III data that demonstrates the compound offers a safe and simple product that induces growth hormone release to evaluate adult Growth Hormone Deficiency, with accuracy comparable to available intravenous and intramuscular testing procedures.
