Stryker withdraws Rejuvenate Modular and ABG II neck stem Hip Replacements

Patients have encountered Stryker hip replacement problems and developed symptoms similar to those seen in metal-on-metal hip replacement devices. Stryker Orthopaedics will voluntarily remove Rejuvenate and ABG II modular-neck stem hip replacemenrs and terminate global distribution of these products. The decision comes after continued post-market surveillance. Patients who received a Rejuvenate Modular or ABG II modular-neck stem are encouraged to contact their surgeon
