FDA approves Zioptan (Merck Inc.)for Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension
The FDA has approved Zioptan (tafluprost opthalmic solution) from Merck Inc. for reduction of elevated intraocular
pressure in patients with open-angle Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension. The drug is also approved in the UK, Spain and Italy.
