Buccolam(Viro Pharma) is launched in UK for prolonged, acute convulsive seizures in paediatric patients
Buccolam (midazolam oromucosal solution) from Viro Pharma for the treatment of prolonged, acute convulsive seizures in paediatric patients from three months to 18 years has been launched in the UK, its first European market. The product was the first ever to be approved through the European Medicines Agency�s new PUMA (paediatric use marketing authorisation) process that came into force in 2007.
