During the period when treatment options were limited to antihistamines and omalizumab, factors such as access to medications and whether omalizumab was covered by insurance played a significant role in treatment decisions. One of the most important studies has shown that no antihistamine is superior to another, which prevents us from wasting time trying multiple different preparations.
The increasing use of widely accessible online platforms for disease related information has also helped guide patients more easily to larger clinics. Studies published by experts in the field and official designation of UCARE that standard approach to management has been established. In other words, diagnosing with disease has become easier, but access to treatment options may actually be more difficult compared to the past.
At this point, a country's economic conditions, it's ability to provide medications or patients' access to clinical resource centres are seen as the main determining factors.
