The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) is the largest dermatology group in the United States with more than 20,000 members. The organisation publishes the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, featuring original, peer-reviewed articles focused on addressing any practice and knowledge gaps in the delivery of dermatological care.

The AAD aims to advance diagnosis, advocate for high standards, and enhance patient care across medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatment for skin, hair, and nails.
