Neuroendocrine gastro-entero-pancreatic tumors: ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines

Neuroendocrine gastroenteropancreatic tumors (GEP-NETs) constitute a heterogeneous group of tumors with their origin in neuroendocrine cells of the embryological gut. This guideline focuses on diagnosis and pathology/molecular biology, staging and risk assessment, management of local/locoregional disease, management of advances/metastatic disease, medical therapy, systemic chemotherapy, peptide receptor-targeted radiotherapy, and response evaluation and follow-up.
