This WCN will bring us up to date in the broad field of neurology, from tropical neurology to molecular genetics. The Scientific Program and Teaching Programs are at the core of the World Congress of Neurology. These are complemented by plenary lectures from leading experts in their fields, the exciting and entertaining Tournament of the Minds, cutting edge scientific sessions relevant to all the corners of the globe, and poster sessions that will feature the research of young neurologists of the future.
In addition to learning and science, the WCN offers an excellent opportunity for communication and exchange. After over two years of pandemic restrictions, we will be able to see and learn from each other!
The WCN rotates between six different regions of the world, all with different health systems, different backgrounds, different neurological challenges, and different needs. This congress will be a valuable forum for exchange of clinical experience, of personal trajectories, of science and to mentor and nurture the next generation.
The WFN will provide congress bursaries for young neurologists to attend WCN in person from low/low-middle income countries.
Montreal is a wonderful destination. A safe and relatively inexpensive city with much to offer. Montreal also has a rich history of neurology, with giants such as Dr Wilder Penfield, Dr Brenda Milner, and many others. The Montreal Neurological Institute will be open to those interested in the history of neurology. Montreal is a multicultural city that has at its core French culture, with all the different aspects of French culture, particularly a keen interest in food.
