A single centre, double blind, non-inferiority study to evaluate the antidepressant activity of Viotra� compared with amitriptyline in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in patients who have an unsatisfactory response / are resistant to SSRI
To demonstrate that the antidepressant activity of Viotra� is not inferior to amitriptyline in subjects who have an unsatisfactory response to / are resistant to treatment with SSRIs.
